BeerGeek.LA is the official blog of the Los Angeles Beer Geeks Meetup Group.

Everyone here can agree, compared to San Francisco and San Diego, LA has a pretty weak beer scene. By banding together and supporting bars and restaurants that understand our desire for good beer, we can help raise awareness and appreciation for delicious craft beer.

More people drinking craft beer in LA = more batches being brewed = more local breweries popping up = no more wasting gas driving to San Diego for growler fills.

At this time, there are no regular monthly meetups scheduled for the group. We stay up to date with all our favorite beer bars, and as they announce upcoming beer events, they will become our Meetups.

Attendance is not required, but good manners are. We ask that you RSVP Yes, No, or Maybe as soon as possible. This isn’t Evite, you don’t need to come up with something witty, just click the button and let us know if you can make it.
